Baguame.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates baguame.com and app.baguame.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal data when you use our Service, and the rights you have in relation to that data.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Data we collect

Personal data

When you register or use the Service, we may collect the following personally identifiable information:

• Email address;
• First name and last name;
• Birth date and birth time (if provided for Ba Zi natal chart analysis);
• Billing information (processed by third-party payment providers — we do not store card details).

Usage data

We automatically collect information about how you access and use the Service, including:

• IP address, browser type and version, operating system;
• Pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages;
• Interactions with calculators and platform features;
• Coin balance and transaction history.

Uploaded files

The Service allows you to upload floor plan images and other files for use with Feng Shui analysis tools. Regarding uploaded files:

• Uploaded files are stored on our servers solely to provide the Service to you;
• We do not share, sell, or use uploaded files for any purpose other than delivering the features you requested;
• You may delete your uploaded files at any time from your account;
• Files may be retained for a limited period after deletion for backup and technical purposes, after which they are permanently removed.

AI query data

When you use AI-powered features (sector analysis, chat), the content of your queries — including any floor plan data, chart data, or text you submit — is processed by third-party AI providers. See Section 5 for details.

Cookies and tracking data

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and collect usage information. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for full details.

2. How we use your data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• To process transactions and manage your subscription and Coin balance;
• To deliver AI-assisted analysis and calculator results;
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, support responses);
• To send marketing communications, where you have opted in;
• To monitor and analyse usage patterns in order to improve the Service;
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats;
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data storage and transfer

Baguame.com is operated from Ukraine. Our primary application server is hosted with Hetzner (Germany, EU), which provides GDPR-compliant infrastructure. Our website is additionally served through Cloudflare’s global CDN network.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed on servers located in the European Union and in other countries where our third-party service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies, preference cookies, and security cookies to operate the Service. Third-party cookies are set by Google Analytics and Cloudflare. For full details and your opt-out options, please see our Cookie Policy.

5. Third-party service providers

We share data with third-party providers only as necessary to operate the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to process your data only for the purposes we specify and not to use it for their own purposes.

Current third-party providers include:

• Hetzner (server hosting, EU) — stores application data and uploaded files;
• Cloudflare (CDN and security) — processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the Service;
• Google Analytics — collects anonymised usage statistics;
• MailerLite (email marketing) — stores your email address and communication preferences if you have opted in to marketing;
• Payment processors — process billing transactions. We do not store payment card data;
• Google Gemini / Anthropic Claude (AI providers) — when you use AI-powered features, the content of your queries is sent to these providers for processing. Your data is subject to their respective privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Anthropic Privacy Policy. We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information in AI queries.

6. Disclosure of data

We may disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation or lawful request from public authorities;
• Protect and defend the rights or property of Baguame.com;
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service;
• Protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public.

7. Security of data

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your data protection rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain conditions;
• Right to restrict processing — to request that we limit how we use your data;

• Right to data portability — to request that we transfer your data to another organisation or directly to you.

9. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud).

Uploaded floor plan files are deleted upon your request or within a reasonable period after account closure.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@baguame.com and we will promptly delete the information.

11. Links to other sites

The Service may contain links to third-party websites not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service before the change takes effect, and update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
