Floor plan
I don't have a floor plan
Sketch one by hand and upload a photo, or use a screenshot from a property listing or your building's documents. Rough proportions are enough to start.
The file won't upload
Use JPG, PNG, WEBP, TIFF, or HEIC, up to 15 MB. For a PDF, upload a screenshot of it.
The plan is crooked
Open Building setup, click Floor plan edit, and then rotate the plan. Check north afterward.
Directions
The grid is turned the wrong way
Check North direction in Building setup. All calculators are oriented by it.
I can't stand in the building with a compass
Use the north arrow on the plan, or compare the plan with a satellite map of your address. Check it on site when you can.
My phone compass gives different readings
I don't know the facing direction
It is usually the side with the main entrance, the busiest street, the most open space, or the most windows. See How to determine your home's natal chart parameters.
The Natal Chart Map or Zi Bai Stars won't open
Both require the facing direction, and the Natal Chart Map also requires the construction period. Add them in Building setup.
I don't know when the building was built
Choose the 20-year period that matches your best estimate. Only the Natal Chart Map uses it.

My home isn't a rectangle
Trace the building contour, and then turn on Use Tai Chi point as center.
A room falls across two sectors
This is normal. Read the sector where the bed or desk stands. In Flying Stars, Zi Bai Stars, and the Natal Chart Map, you can also reshape the sectors in Grid settings.
My rooms and furniture don't appear in a calculator
Add them under Home Structure, and then check that the plan layers are on in the calculator's display settings.
People and charts
I don't know the birth time
Tick I don't know birth Time. The Gua number doesn't need it, and BaZi omits the hour pillar. Zi Wei Dou Shu can't be built without it.
My chart differs from another site
The usual causes are true solar time, the late Zi hour, and the start of the year. See Why results can differ. To compare with a site that doesn't use true solar time, tick Don't use Location Correction.
Eight Mansions shows the wrong person
It shows one person at a time. Use the person switch.
My Gua number looks wrong for an early-year birth
Births before Li Chun, around February 4, count toward the previous year. Also check the gender at birth.
AI and credits
The AI's advice doesn't match my home
The AI knows only what is on your plan. Check north, and mark your rooms, furniture, and people.
The AI's answer contradicts the calculator
Rely on the calculator. Its results come from code, and the AI's text is an interpretation.
A reading failed
Credits are refunded automatically. You can try again.

I didn't get the verification email
Check your spam folder, and then use the resend option on the verification page.

Click Support in the app. Replies come by email, usually within 24 hours.
