Common Tasks in Baguame

This page lists the steps for common goals. Each one assumes that you have created a building.

Check where a bed or desk stands

  1. Mark the room, and place the bed or desk. Rotate it to match reality.
  2. Assign people to it.
  3. Open Eight Mansions, and switch between people to see their directions.
  4. In the AI Assistant tab, ask about the bed or desk.
  5. Optional: To compare another position, rotate the element, and then ask again.

Compare homes before you buy or rent

  1. Create a building from each listing's plan. Take north from a satellite map, and treat it as provisional.
  2. Trace the building contour, and check missing areas on the Bagua Map.
  3. In Eight Mansions, check which rooms suit each person.
  4. If you know the facing direction and period, open the Natal Chart Map.
  5. Check Annual Afflictions and Flying Stars for the year.

Plan a renovation

  1. In Annual Afflictions, select the year of the work.
  2. In Flying Stars, select the year and month, and read the sector's stars.
  3. In the Daily Almanac, look for a start date.
  4. In the AI Assistant tab, ask about the room, and name the year.

What we found in your home covers the current year only.

Handle an irregular home

  1. Trace the building contour.
  2. On the Bagua Map, read the missing percentage of each sector.
  3. Turn on Use Tai Chi point as center.

Review a new year

Do this around Li Chun, in early February.

  1. Open Annual Afflictions and Flying Stars.
  2. Optional: Turn on the daily almanac email.

Understand a person's chart

  1. Add the person with their birth date and time.
  2. Open BaZi or Zi Wei Dou Shu.
  3. Ask the AI assistant, or get a reading. Start with the card marked Start Here.

Work with clients

Baguame works within one account. It has no separate client logins or shared client views.

  1. Create a building for each client's home.
  2. Add each client as a person, and use Person Role to record their role.
  3. Use Search to find people, buildings, and rooms by name.
  4. Open the calculators on the plan during a session.
